A set of four ceremonial paintings on bamboo or mulberry paper, depicting two judges and two groups of attendants. The inscriptions at the top may describe the subject of the scene.
Condition: good overall, with a few patches on the reverse to caddress minor losses and provide structural reinforcement.
Lantien Yao culture, Northern Laos or Southern China. Circa 1880-1900s.
