Weaving sword BO283
Weaving sword made of ironwood, used to pack the weft threads. At one end, a sculpture depicts a man supporting two aso (dragon-dogs) that support a pair of dogs themselves.
Acquired in 1984 in a village along the Ketungau river, West kalimantan, Borneo island, Indonesia.
Early to mid-20th century.
100.5 cm long x 5.5 cm wide – 390 gr.
