Nagaland grain mortar S4D
Monoxylous champak wood mortar with three holes where the ladies used to pound grain in rythm. Can now be used as a primitive coffee table.
Sema Naga tribe, Nagaland, North-Eastern India.
19th century.
192 cm long x 41 cm high and 60 cm wide.
