Mahwa wood temple chariot panel depicting dancing Krishna, the God of protection, compassion, tenderness, and love. He is here holding a butter ball in his right hand and the tail of the Kaliya snake in his left. He is dancing on its hood. In this form he is known as Kaliyamardan or Kalianaga Krishna.
