Antique Tibetan coral BD201
A large coral bead with two pate de verre beads imitating coral. The coral bead is in two parts, one imbricated inside the other, formed naturally and moving independently when shaked.
Italian trade red coral sourced in India from the Tibetan community.
Circa 18-19th century.
Coral: 22.5 mm in diameter x 10.5 mm thick – 8.6 gr.
