Yao ceremonial paintings Set17

A set of sixteen (16) main paintings on bamboo or mulberry paper, accompanied by three «Messengers», three forehead masks, the Bridge to Heaven, and a crown retaining all seven painted panels, with six flaps. All are in good condition. The set comes with its original packaging: an indigo-dyed piece of hand-spun cotton cloth.
Some patches have been applied to the reverse to reinforce minor tears or creases. Minor discoloration is present. All paintings bear the owner’s name, highlighted in red, along with that of the previous owner just below (or vice versa). To the left, it seems that the name of the depicted figure also appears.
